February Random

Here is the randoms for the month of February

We had a Super Bowl party at Katy's house.  The food was the best part!

The big screen tv we watched on.  I was rooting for the Chief's since Jane was Patrick Mahomes athletic trainer.

Joey got to to the outdoor Avalanche game at the Air Force Academy.  He had a blast and got to pose with the Stanley Cup.  

Grace got a hair cut.  It had been a very long time, and she had some pretty scraggly ends.  She decided she wanted to cut off a lot.  I about cried as to how short it was, but she loves it!

She loves "helping" around the house, and was helping her mom vacuum.  

Dawson failed his vision exam at school, and we discovered he needs glasses.  These are the frames he picked.  

Nuggets Games

      Joey got to take Ashlyn to game and Dawson to a game recently.  He buys Nuggets tickets so far in advance, and we always aren't sure how it will work out.  The game he took Ashlyn to was a 8:30 game and I decided it was too late for me.  I knew he wouldn't get home until way after midnight and I had to work the next morning.  Ashlyn decided that she wanted to go.  They said they had a great time and Ashlyn said she fell asleep the moment she got in the car to go home.
   As part of getting to be on the billboard, Joey got tickets for a game.  During the game the unveiled his billboard.  He had to take Dawson since Dawson got to be in the pictures.  They had a great time and enjoyed the whole experience.

Valentine's Day

  For Valentine's day, the girls decided to get dressed up in their best heart clothes.  They looked so darn cute, I had to post some pics.

Cookie Time

  This is Ashlyn's first year doing Girl Scouts.  She decided to join because her best friend, Luci, is a girl scout.  She has really enjoyed it so far.  She has gotten to do all sorts of neat stuff.  It is finally cookie time.  Ashlyn and Luci signed up for a lot of cookie booths and they have sold a lot of cookies.  Joey volunteered to attend her booth with her.  He is such a good sport and even put on the cookie costume. 
    Ashlyn has been trying to sell a lot of cookies.  My mom has also been a big help.  She took a lot of cookies to Jolly and helped Ashlyn sell a lot of cookies.  Her leaders were pretty impressed with how many cookies she sold.  The money she earned will go towards all sort of fun scout activities.
