Dawson 23 Months

      Last week, Dawson turned 23 months.  He is so close to being 2 years old!  I can't believe how fast time is flying by.  He continues to be the sweetest, cutest little boy on the planet.  He is so unbelivably sweet and caring.  He loves to go up to Jameson and give him kisses.  He also loves giving the rest of his family kisses.  He is a cuddly boy and will give anyone a hug when asked.  He is just so loving!
     Dawson continues to LOVE all things boy.  It is funny to see how his interests differ greatly from Ashlyn's.  His favorite things are trains, planes, car, trucks, and motorcycles. He got a ton of them for Christmas and loves moving them and making sounds.  He loves saying "choo choo".  He has this little push ATV that he just adores.  He rides that thing around the house any chance he gets.  We are planning his upcoming birthday party and I know that it will involve some sort of cars or trucks theme.  He just loves them so much!
      Dawson's speech continues to get better.  He is putting together two words like "thank you" and "no, mine".  The "no, mine" is the one he uses the most.  Mainly with his sister.  Every day I think that we hear at least 5 new words come out of his mouth.  He is definitely going through his "language explosion".  He is doing it later than some kids, but I am just relieved that he is finally verbalizing more and talking a lot.  His daycare provider told me on Friday how she has noticed how much more he is talking. 
      I will write a much longer post when he turns two, but I just wanted to give a quick update as to what our little man is doing right now.
