On July 20, I ran a 10k race. This was my third year in a row running this particular race. Its a really pretty course, but it's honestly not one of my favorite races. I'm not a big fan of the 10k distance. I had to do this race because its part of the series that I run each year. My sister ran it for the first time this year. It was fun having her there. I was having a pretty off day that race. Not all races can best your best. You have some good race days as well as some bad race days. Although it seems lately that the bad race days are outnumbering good race days! I'm not too concerned though. I just have to change my training a bit and see if I can fix things. After the race, I was beat. The race starts at 7:00 a.m., so I had to wake up very early. I went back home to take a much needed nap. Joey decided to take the kids to the park for some play time. Of course, he brought the camera and captured some cute pictures of the kids.
