Halloween

    Halloween was extra special this year.  First, it was Graceyn's first Halloween which was fun to watch her experience.  Second, it was on a Friday.  I usually falls on a weekday and we always have to hurry and get home to get to bed for school the next day.  Since it was on a Friday, we let Ashlyn trick or treat as late as she wanted. 
    We started our festivities with our traditional pumpkin pizza.  The kids always get a kick out of it.  After pizza, we got them all dressed in their costumes.  We took some pictures, and then we were off.  It was a a little chilly that night.  I bundled Gracie up as much as possible.  The kids had such fun going door to door.  Dawson was the funniest of all.  After each house, we would come running towards us and shout, "I got a (whatever candy they gave him)".  It was too cute. 
     Gracie didn't get to trick or treat long because I was afraid it was too cold for her.  The little kids didn't stay out much longer.  Ashlyn braved the cold with her Gram and Dad and got quite a loot.  We came home and put on warm pajamas and sorted through the candy.  It was a great night!
