Graceyn's 5th Birthday

   Our spunky little princess is 5 years old!!!  I can't believe how quickly these years have gone by!  Gracie is just such a special little girl.  She has so much personality and there is never a dull moment when she is around.  She has a very spicy little personality.  She can be the sweetest girl in the whole wide world.  She can also be a sassy little thing.  My sister lovingly refers to her as our little sour patch kid.  I think it sums her up very well!  I love her so very much and she is truly my heart.  I can't imagine what life would be like without my Grace. 
   We had two separate celebrations for her birthday.  We had a little family party on her actual birthday.  We have found it is easier with such a big crew, to just order food at home.  All the other kids always pick pizza.  Gracie is such a good eater and definitely the least picky out of all the kids. She loves chicken wings (she refers to them as dog bones).  She decided that is what she wanted for her birthday dinner.  We ordered wings from Wing Stop and all of the adults were definitely happy with her dinner choice!  She was showered in presents and had a great little party.

   Now that Grace is in preschool, birthday parties are kind of a big deal.  She has gone to a lot of birthday parties this year as everyone usually invites the entire class.  She knew for months that she wanted to have her party at a place called Monkey Bizness.  It's a play place with all sorts of fun things for kids to do.  Almost her entire class came and they had a great time playing.  They ended the party in the party room with Chick Fil A nuggets, fruit and ice cream and cake.  Gracie's first friend party was definitely a success! 

 

  A few days after her birthday, Papa came and took Gracie for a few days.  She always has such a good time with her grandparents and I know she loves the special time she gets to spend with them.
