Basketball

    Since soccer is over, basketball season started.  Dawson loves basketball and got to be on the same team as last year.  This year Joey got to be a coach for his team.  Because of Corona, practice was limited to only the coaches and kids.  Games were also limited to only one parent.  Grace begged and begged to play basketball.  Joey signed her up and she was really happy.  She was on a team with boys and girls.  I went to her first game.  She scored a basket and I was so proud of her!  

  The kids were really enjoying basketball and having a great time when Covid had to go and ruin it.  We were so bummed to hear that the season would be cancelled due to increasing cases of Covid.  It was a definite blow because our kids desperately need to be kids and participate in activities.  However, we realize that we need to stay healthy and do our best to stop the spread of this awful virus.  I hope that we are able to get this virus under control soon and we can resume a normal life again!  Below are some pictures of Grace at her first and only game.
