Since Ashlyn was about a year old I have struggled with her hair. For someone who is so hair challenged, it would make sense that I would have a daughter with so much hair. I would love to do cute hairdos and put cute barrettes, bows, etc. in it but she doesn't allow it. Even when she was a baby I would put in a barrette and she would yank it right out. So, Ashlyn's hair has pretty much been a constant battle for me. Over the years it has gotten pretty long. I love her pretty, long hair. However, it is such a challenge to keep it looking decent. She hates to have it brushed or combed. Sometimes it would take me forever to comb it out. A couple of weeks ago I started toying with the idea of cutting it. I shuddered at the the thought of her cutting her beautiful hair that has taken so many years to grow. Then I thought of how much easier it would be for both of us if it was more manageable. After lots and lots of debating, I finally decided to take the plunge and have it cut. I am so happy with the way it turned out! It fits her so well. She loves it, I love it. I can now do her hair in a fraction of the time and it looks so much better. I'm glad I finally got up the nerve.
