2nd Trip to the Cabin

    Two weekends ago, we made another trip to the cabin.  We were all very excited to go back and this time Katy's family was able to come too.  Dawson and Ashlyn always love spending time with their cousins, so they had a wonderful time.  We did the usual of feeding the chipmunks, going on ATV rides, smores, etc.  The kids just had a blast playing with each other, running around, and enjoying nature.  We discovered Ella and Dawson's favorite thing to do up there.  They loved throwing rocks and sticks into the river.  I swear they could have done it for hours if we would have let them.  In fact, we made many trips to the water.  They would laugh and laugh while they did it.  I loved seeing them get such a enjoyment out of such a simple and wholesome activity.    We can't wait to head back again soon.  There is truly no place like the cabin in the summer.

Jameson made his first trip to the cabin.  He loved it!

The kids eating dinner.  The cabin is the only place they are allowed to eat TV dinners.  They consider it a real treat.  (Dawson went to the zoo the day before with his daycare and they painted his face like a tiger.  He still had some of the paint on his face, so that's why it looks a little discolored.)

Dawson is starting to play more and more with Jameson.  It is really cute.  I know they are going to be inseparable one day soon.
