Jameson's Birthday

I am so behind on this blog.  We just spent over a week at the cabin, so that explains some of it. Summer is just a busy time for us and it seems like we are always on the go. I struggle to find time to blog when we are having so much fun!  I have a lot of posts that I will posting shortly.
Our sweet nephew, Jameson, turned a year old on June 19th.  It has been so wonderful to watch him grow this last year from a tiny little newborn to a big one year old.  He is just the sweetest thing in the world and always has such a huge smile for me.
First birthdays are a big deal.  My sister came up with the theme of "little man/mustache bash" for his party.  My sister and I tend to go all out for birthdays and we absolutely love planning parties and events. We like it so much, we have decided our new dream is to start a party planning company.   My sister and I always help each other with birthday parties because they are so much work for us.  We put a lot of time into this party, but we were so pleased how everything turned out.  We received a lot of compliments from guests.  Jameson had a great time and it was definitely a party to remember for years to come.

Goody bags for the kids.  Guests were also invited to grab a mustache when they came in.

The cupcakes we made.  We also made the stand and the toppers.

Bryan made a really neat slide show of Jameson through the year.

Nice pink mustache Bryan!

Jameson and his Uncle Brad.  I think Jameson looks a lot like Brad.
Ashlyn had a great time.

Getting ready to dig in

He wasn't too impressed with cake.
He really didn't want to try it.

Checking out his new toys.

Ashlyn did a great job of showing him how his toys worked.
