3 Weeks

Graceyn won't be 3 weeks until tomorrow, but since I didn't get around to doing a two week post, I figured I better write one while I have a minute.  I can't believe she is already 3 weeks old!  I feel like she has always been here.  Its very surreal to me that she has only been in my life for 20 days.  I love this girl so much.  She is such a sweet thing.
She is still sleeping a lot.  She sleeps pretty much all day.  She is starting to have longer stretches of being awake.  She really likes laying on her activity mat that her grandparents got her.  She likes it even more when her brother and sister come over and talk to her.  She is just mesmerized by them.  It is pretty sweet to watch.  She already loves her big brother and sister.
She has started to become a bit more fussy.  I know that both Ashlyn and Dawson went through a phase like this at this age.  I am just really praying she is like Ashlyn and it is just a short phase and she goes back to being a content little baby.  Dawson did not and cried and had horrible colic for months.  Her doctor did put her on reflux medicine to see if that helps because she is showing some signs of reflux.  I have done extensive research and pretty much this kind of fussiness can be perfectly normal, or can be due to a long list of different problems. It could also be a growth spurt.  I am contemplating giving up dairy like I did with Dawson because it really helped him.  I want to see first if this is just a phase or not.  I really, really love my dairy!  I am praying that it doesn't get worse!
She still loves to cuddle and is definitely the most content when she is curled up with me.  It's a little harder to cuddle her all day with two other kids, but I get in as much cuddle time as I can.  It is the best part of my day.  Newborn cuddles just can not be beat! We are all falling more and more in love with this little girl each and every day.
This week was exciting for Graceyn and all of us. She got to meet her Uncle Adam and Aunt Jane for the first time.  They were here from Texas for a short weekend trip and they came down on Saturday.  Graceyn got lots of cuddle time with her Aunt Jane. On Monday, she got to meet her Grandma and Grandpa DeLorme. Her Grandpa had been very sick and didn't want to expose Graceyn to his germs.  He was finally feeling better, and they came down for a visit.  She is such a loved little girl.
Here are some pictures from this week.

Dawson has taken on the big brother role so well.  He is so good with her.

She had some crazy hair this day.  Lol

This is Graceyn's favorite time, when her brother and sister talk to her.  She has even started to "talk" back.

Love those cheeks!
