Easter Fun

The day before Easter, my sister and I planned some activities for the kids to do.  I have been wanting to make Rice Krispie Easter eggs for years, but have never gotten around to it.  This year I decided we were going to make some!  Ella and Dawson came over to join in on the fun.  The kids had such a good time helping to make the treats.  Once we made them and put them into plastic eggs to make the egg shape, the kids got to decorate them with sprinkles.  Once they were all beautiful, they all got to have one.  I definitely think we will be making these again next year.
Later that afternoon, the kids dyed eggs.  Egg dyeing is always pretty messy, but the kids really like it.  Jameson even got to dye some this year.  My mom and I found some plastic eggs that you could dye.  We got out the markers and they decorated those too.  What a fun day we had getting ready for Easter.

Ella and Ashlyn definitely had more fun decorating then the boys.
