Pumpkin Carving and Cupcake Fun

We had a great time carving pumpkins this year.  I always forget what work carving pumpkins really is.  The problem is that the kids are too young to really do much in the way of actually carving.  They always pick very intricate designs and Joey and I are left doing all of the carving.  Never the less, it is always a nice evening spent as a family having fun.  This year Ashlyn picked Snow White and Dawson picked Lightening McQueen because he loves the movie Cars.  Gracie didn't pick a design this year.  She just watched and looked cute.

Ashlyn decided to create her own design.

On Halloween Eve, we got together with the cousins for one last night of Halloween fun.  I made cupcakes and the kids got to decorate them.  They had such fun covering them with lots and lots of sprinkles.  It was a great last fun, tasty treat before Halloween.

Sampling the goods

Gracie didn't participate too much.  She did get some samples though.
