Denver Aquarium

One day this summer we had a random day that we were looking for something fun to do.  Ashlyn and Dawson suggested the Denver Aquarium.  We have only been once and Dawson was just a baby. We figured it would be a good time to go.  It was pretty busy being that it was a summer day, but we still enjoyed our time there.  I was a little disappointed in how small it is, but the kids enjoyed looking at all the fish.  Ashlyn and Gracie really liked petting the stingrays.  Dawson wouldn't even attempt it.
We decided to have lunch at the aquarium restaurant.   That was a really neat experience.  We got to eat right next to a gigantic fish tank.  We enjoyed watching the fish as we ate our lunch.  Near the end of lunch, "mermaids" came out and swam. Gracie thought she was really watching Ariel swim.  It was a really neat lunch experience.

The kids got to make their own sundaes for dessert.  They thought it was the coolest thing in the world.
