Cliff Dwellings and Magic Town

A few days before school started, we wanted to fit in one more fun adventure.  My mom had been wanting to take the kids to the cliff dwellings, so we decided to head there.  The cliff dwellings aren't far, but we had never been there. There wasn't a ton to see and do there, but we all really enjoyed learning what life was like years ago. Dawson really enjoyed climbing through the dwellings.  Gracie had a meltdown, so I had to sit in the car with her.
We stopped for lunch, then headed to our next stop: Magic Town.  My mom took my sister and I there when we were kids and I remembered how much I loved it.  A local sculptor makes realistic depictions of an old town.  It is really neat and there is so much to look at.  They had a scavenger hunt to do to really help to notice all the details.  The kids had a blast looking for all the items.  We had a great time and will definitely be going back again.
