I've been very good about blogging at least once a week. The last few weeks have been very hectic, so I didn't get around to blogging last week. My Grandma has been very ill and in the hospital, so I've been spending a lot of time there. It also seems that as the weather warms up, we become more and more busy. Every weekend seems to be jammed packed with stuff.
We had a great day today. We went to the park today by our house. It is a really nice park that we really enjoy. The best part is that I was able to run with Dawson in the jogging stroller around the park while Ashlyn and Joey played. It worked out so well and we will definitely be doing that again soon. We came home and planted flowers. Ashlyn was a great helper. The flowers turned out so beautiful. I am so excited for summer and all that it entails.
In baby news, Dawson is growing like crazy! Last Friday, he started rolling over from his back to his belly. He was about 3 1/2 months old. I think that is about when Ashlyn started doing it as well. Since he has started, he hasn't stopped. That little boy is rolling all of the time. It is just the cutest thing. I feel like he is already growing up so fast! He also started smiling and laughing at facial expressions. I love his laugh. He laughs so hard when Joey kisses his knees. He will be four months next Sunday, so I will be doing a lengthy blog post then to recap everything he has been doing lately.
Ashlyn continues to be a wild and crazy three year old. She has two more weeks of preschool before she is out for the summer. She will start her new school the beginning of August. We drove her past it today and she seemed excited. She has been making friends everywhere she goes lately. She made a friend at a garage sale, at the park, at the store,etc. She seems to make friends everywhere she goes. We continue to work on her reading and she is getting very, very close to reading books. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and we have decided to buy another membership for the year. Our little animal lover is very excited about this. She just loves the zoo.
Here is a random assortment of pictures from the last two weeks. Joey took my good camera in to be cleaned. I am left with my old camera that does not take nearly as good of pictures. I can't wait to get my good camera back and start snapping away again.
