Wow, three months already. I feel like I blinked, and three months already went by. It's just so amazing how quickly babies grow. I am truly enjoying watching Dawson literally grow in front of my eyes as he explores the world around him.
At three months, we are able to see more of his personality emerging now. He is such a happy baby. He is constantly smiling. Like all of the time. He always smiles the biggest when he sees his sister. He just adores Ashlyn to pieces. He always gives me great smiles too. In the morning, he will just lay there and smile and laugh. I love and cherish that time each and every day.
He continues to do so much better with his fussiness and colic. I still attribute it to me going dairy free. So, I'm going to continue to do so. It is still hard, but has been getting easier. I'm going to soon start trying to introduce small amounts of dairy at a time to see how he does.
I think that Dawson has a very laid back personality. He really enjoys to just sit back and take in everything that's going on. He's a pretty go with the flow kind of boy. I'm really hoping he has a personality similar to his Uncle Adam. His Uncle Adam is seriously one of the most laid-back people I have ever known. I would love for Dawson to be like that.
Dawson is a big talker just like his sister was at this age. He will stop eating, look up at me and just start talking a way and smile. I LOVE it! He has a lot to say! Ashlyn was the same way, so I guess that means he will one day be like her and talk constantly. Joey and I will one day have lots to listen to.
Dawson's favorite activity is still playing with his activity mat. He loves to sit under it and just watch the toys dangle. He loves to bat at them and hold onto them. He also is starting to enjoy his swing a lot more. He loves to just sit in it and look around and watch Ashlyn play. He usually falls asleep in it, so he takes a lot of naps in it.
We continue to cherish each and every moment with Dawson for we know they grow so fast. I've been taking lots and lots of pictures to look back on. Here are some pictures that I took the day Dawson officially turned 3 months old. We have a very busy weekend coming up next week, so I will have some great pictures to post.
