Things have been so, so busy around here lately that time for blogging has become scarce. Summer is just such a busy time of year for us. Last week and this week were particularly busy. Once i post all the posts and pictures, you will be able to see why.
Last Tuesday, Adam and Jane came to town for a their yearly June visit. The kids are just crazy about their aunt and uncle. They love it when they are here. A few weeks ago out of the blue, Ashlyn said, "Mom I wish Texas was a lot closer so we could see Uncle Adam and Aunt Jane a lot more".
We had a lot of fun with them. We tried to pack as much fun as we could into 3 short days. One day we went to the penny arcade in Manitou Springs, a Brazilian steakhouse for lunch, and Ashlyn, Jane and I went to see the movie Maleficent. What fun we had that day! One day we spent some time at the mall and Jane and I pampered ourselves with pedicures. What a great time we had with them. Their visits are always much too short and leave all of us wishing that they lived much closer to us. Here are some pictures from their visit.
