Since Dawson loves all things Transformers, that's the kind of party he requested. I had a great time picking out the decorations and coming up with some ideas for his party. Our elf Eddie Buddy comes for birthdays as well as Christmas. Dawson was ecstatic to wake up to decorations from his elf as well as all of his Transformers lined up. Eddie even brought him some birthday donuts!!! What a treat!
When he was at daycare, I worked on decorating and turning our house into a party zone. He had the biggest smile on his face when he walked in and saw everything. The party started with lots of pizza which he requested. After pizza, we played some games. They played pin the shield on Bumblebee which the kids had a blast with. We also did some musical chairs. They had a great time playing games.
After games, it was time for presents and Dawson got lots of great gifts. He got lots of additions to his ever growing Transformer collection. We ended the party with the homemade vanilla cupcakes I made for him. He does not have his mom's love of chocolate, and always requests vanilla. I have never made vanilla cupcakes from scratch and I was quite pleased with how they turned out. By the end of the party, Dawson was exhausted. He had such a great day full of lots of fun and lots Transformers!
