I can not believe that our sweet baby is already two years old! How in the world did this happen??? I swear it seems like just yesterday I was pregnant with her and dying to find out if I was going to have another son or daughter.
Gracie is quite the spitfire. She is the youngest, but she definitely holds her own. She has no problem sticking up for herself. I still refer to her as my little diva. She knows exactly what she wants, and is very assertive in making sure she gets it. Don't dare try to take away a toy she is playing with. She will not give it up without a major fight.
She has fit into our family so perfectly. She loves her brother and sister so very much. They each have a very different and special relationship with her. She loves running around the house with them and is always trying to play anything they are playing. She loves to give kisses at night. She absolutely refuses to go to bed until she has given each of us not one, but two kisses. She is such a sweet girl.
Gracie loves to play with baby dolls and they are definitely her favorite toys. She got a doll crib for her birthday and loves putting her babies to bed. She is such a good mommy and will lay on the couch with her baby and feed it a bottle. She tucks her baby in so tenderly. It is very sweet.
Another of Gracie's favorites it to dance. The girl seriously has moves. Joey loves to play music for her and watch her dance. She can dance for an hour straight if we let her. As soon as she is potty trained, I definitely plan on getting her into dance classes.
Gracie is also our outside girl. She always wants to be outside playing and exploring. I often have to explain to her that it is too cold to go outside and she doesn't like to hear that . She is outside running around any chance she can get.
Gracie continues to be by far our best eater. She eats like such a champ. I love that she just eats whatever I put in front of her. She is not picky unlike her brother and sister. She continues to love fruit and vegetables. She can not get enough of broccoli. Often at dinner, her vegetable is the first thing gone from her plate. I love how healthy of an eater she is. She also loves being in the kitchen with me. Any time I am cooking dinner, she pulls up a chair and stands at the island and watches me and "helps" me cook. I think she got the DeLorme cooking gene for sure.
Graceyn has such an advanced vocabulary. Dawson talked very little at the age of two, it is quite the change to have such a talkative child. We can make out most of what she says. She also usually speaks in full sentences. For example, " I want that". "Momma hold me". Every day she says a ton of new words. Ashlyn is constantly teaching her new words as well. It's awesome that she can verbalize her wants and needs and I don't have to guess as much. I do fear for the day when she is full on talking because between her very talkative siblings, I don't think we will ever get another moment of silence!
She is our adorable little sunshine. We are so grateful to have her in our family. Watching her grow and her personality emerge is so much fun! The joy and happiness she has brought to our family is immeasurable! Love you to the moon and back Gracie girl!
