Valentine's Day

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day this year full of love.  As always, I really don't do too much for Valentine's Day because I feel it's a silly holiday to encourage you to spend money.  We have always spent it together with some extra meals and surprises here and there.  It has become our tradition to eat in the formal dining room and have a "fancy" meal.
This year was very special because Katy, Jameson, and Ella all got to eat our fancy dinner with us because Bryan was out of town.  The kids got to have a heart shaped pizza and the adults had a very tasty pasta dish.  It was a great dinner.  We finished the meal with rootbeer floats which definitely hit the spot.  After dinner we played Minute to Win It with the girls going against the boys.  Our family played last year and had an absolute blast.  The cousins loved getting to join in this year.  We shared so many laughs attempting all the different activities.  I love that game and we decided we definitely have to do it more often.  The kids had such a good time.
So, while pretty low key, our Valentine's Day was filled with laughter and love.

Gracie is slowly getting old enough to partake in the kids activities

Always lots of sprinkles

They take their cookie decorating very seriously

Auntie was a pro

Love that smile

In this game, we had to stick a pom pom to our nose with Vaseline

The kids loved this one.  We got to make mummies out of crepe paper.

What cute mummies!

Breaking free!!!

No clue what Gracie is doing here, but it's a funny picture.

Dawson and Ella needed a turn becoming mummies too.
