Disney World - Day 3

After our very long day on Sunday, we were all very ready for a more laid back and less busy day.  On Monday, we were headed to Epcot.  Since we were so close and could walk, we all got to sleep in a bit which was much needed at that point.  Dawson and Ashlyn were completely worn out from the previous two days, so Joey stayed back with them while we started our day.

Early morning beach time

I love the beach along the boardwalk

Gracie was ready to go

A great view of "England" first thing in the morning

Epcot is great before it gets crowded

We headed to Soarin right away.  It is my mom's favorite ride.   It used to be Soarin over California, but they recently changed it to Soarin Over the World.  I loved the new ride, my mom was not a fan.

Ready for a fun day

Taking a quick break
Joey, Ashlyn, and Dawson decided to take the very short boat ride over to Epcot. The extra sleep and showers left them ready for a full day of Disney fun.

Riding the boat

Great picture in Epcot.  Can you spot the Eiffel Tower in the background?

We had to get in for a picture too

Epcot has a lot of fountains

I could always talk Ashlyn into posing for a picture.  This was in front of an English garden.
We had all worked up quite an appetite by that point, so we headed to France for breakfast.  Their breakfast consisted of amazing fresh baked French pastries.  They were so good and pretty authentic I would guess.

Doing some coloring in France

Gracie loved getting a chance to color

Dawson was very proud of his bear

Joey in Morocco
We spent some time walking around the countries and exploring.  There is always so much to look at.  We always like to do some shopping and we always find the neatest stuff in Japan.  For lunch, we ate at one of our favorite restaurants in Germany.  The food is always so good and the kids love to dance and listen to the German band.  It really feels like you are in Germany.  The German beer is pretty darn good too!  The kids loved the band and really cut a rug on the dance floor.  Must be all their German blood.

A German feast

Loving some German food

So much food!

Dancing

They were so entertaining and I'm guessing the other restaurant goers got a kick out of them

Bryan's serious face

All that dancing really wore Gracie out

This is me calling Katy to see where they were at

Disney recently replaced the old ride in Norway with a Frozen ride. It has only been open a few months and the kids were so excited to ride it.  The ride was really neat and so much more entertaining then the old Norway ride.  I just wish the lines weren't so long and we could have ridden more than once our trip.

Such a long line.  Good thing we had Fast Passes

Olaf

Frozen ride

Apparently they took a picture on the downhill part.  Joey and I think Dawson's face is so funny.

Such a sweet picture

Jameson really likes the movie Big Hero 6 and we wanted to meet the main character from the movie. He was so excited to meet him.  He is still at that age where he really thinks that is the real character and not someone just wearing a costume.  His interactions with the characters were priceless.

He couldn't believe it was really him

He was so happy

Ella really wanted to meet Jasmine.  She waited in line the night before, but then Jasmine went away for the night before she got to the front of the line.  We discovered we could meet her in Epcot.  The girls all had a great time meeting her and talking with Jasmine.

So much to tell Jasmine

Gracie really liked Jasmine

Next up, we had a Fast Pass for Test Track.  I love this ride so much as it is so much fun.  I was so excited for Ella, Dawson and Jameson to ride it for their first time.  They all really liked it and gave it two big thumbs up!

Wild ride

Unfortunately you can only see Bryan in this picture

You can't really see him, but Dawson is between Papa and Gram

We were all still pretty worn out from the previous day.  We decided to head back towards our hotel.  We decided to stop at a new ice cream place.  I had heard good things about it, but we didn't really think it was all that good.

Running for ice cream

Ready for some ice cream

Ice cream melts very quickly in Florida

Messy, but good
There was a photo booth on the Boardwalk that the kids had a blast in.  We knew they were taking a bunch of pictures, but we didn't see them.  It was pretty funny to see the pictures they took.

They already have the photo booth thing down!

We headed back to the hotel pretty early that night.  We were all ready to for a good nights sleep in preparation for another fun filled day in the happiest place on Earth!
