Disney Day 5

On Wednesday, we headed back to Epcot.  This was one of the only days that was not jam packed full of plans.  It was nice to have a more relaxed and laid back day.  We started the day by going on some rides.   We rode Test Track and a few other rides.

Loving life on Test Track

Such a wild ride

After we rode some rides, we decided to head over to the World Showcase.  The Food and Wine festival started on that day.  We were all pretty excited to try some different foods.  It was pretty hot that day and the kids weren't much up for walking around.  They aren't very adventurous in trying new foods, so they weren't very interested.  Our hotel has one of the neatest pools in all of Disney, so Joey and my brother decided to head back to the hotel with the kids and do some swimming.  Joey said they had a great time and it was a great break for them.  Bryan, Katy, Jameson and I walked around the World Showcase and tried lots of new foods.  It was lots of fun.  We had some hummus fries at the Greek stand that were amazing.

Jameson and I in Mexico

Along the way, we spotted Donald Duck in Mexico.  Jameson was so excited to stop and meet him.  He was so darn cute with Donald.

Enjoying the food

What a silly couple

Looked like a good place to stop and take a picture

An English Garden we stopped at
We all met back up for dinner at one of our favorites, Via Napoli.  It is such an authentic Italian restaurant.  All the waiters are from Italy and barely speak English.  Joey having lived in Naples for several years growing up, maintains it is the most authentic Italian food he has had outside of Italy.  We asked our waiter for recommendations and he recommended this pasta dish that was so amazing I swear I still dream about it!  It was an excellent meal.

We got done with dinner fairly early.  We decided to head over to Magic Kingdom that night because it was open until midnight.  Joey decided to take Gracie back to the hotel since she was pretty tired.  It was much busier than we anticipated it would be.  We rode Splash Mountain which is always fun.  We stayed for the fireworks show, Wishes which was spectacular and we were all very glad we got to see it.  We headed back to the hotel after the fireworks and went directly to bed as we had a very busy day the next day ahead of us.
