Graceyn's Spring Soccer

   Graceyn is also playing soccer this spring.  This is her first time ever playing a sport.  Originally, we had signed her up for a three and four year old team.  She hated the first practice because they did't actually play a game and just worked on fundamentals instead.  She told Joey she wanted to play "real" soccer.  Joey was able to get her on the 5/6 year old team.  She is so tall, that she blends right in and you can't tell she is a year younger than the rest of the team.  I was a little worried how she would do because she is so much younger than her teammates, but she has absolutely able to hold her own out there and she is picking it up really quickly.  They practice for 30 minutes, then have a game immediately afterwards.  She seems to be having a great time out there and is picking up some good soccer skills.  She has even gotten in some good kicks during the game.  I am so happy that she can finally get out there and try a sport.
