Sadly, our last day in Disney had arrived. We were very fortunate to find a flight that left Orlando around 9:30 P.M. It was a direct flight that took us right to Colorado Springs. Leaving so late, meant we got some time in the parks that day. Perfect final day. We like to take advantage of every second in Disney World.
Since Toy Story Land was still pretty new, Slinky Dog fast passes were hard to get. We all were dying to ride it, and the only day our Disney planner could get us Fast Passes was for our last morning. So, we headed to Hollywood Studios.

Our beautiful princess Ella |
We decided we wanted to head to Toy Story land to ride Toy Story Mania one last time. Everyone was heading to Slinky Dog, so we got right on.
After Toy Story Mania, it was finally time to check out Slinky Dog. It did not disappoint and we all LOVED it. I just wish we could have ridden it more than once. Maybe next time.
Jameson spotted Donald Duck and had to go and meet him.
Our Disney agent was only able to get our Slinky Dog fast passes for later in the morning and our lunch reservations were shortly after. She stressed to me we would have to ride and then quickly get over to Disney Springs for lunch. We were going to take the new Minnie Van service they have but it didn't end well. We all ended up standing in the middle of a random parking lot outside Hollywood Studios. We waited and waited for our Minnie van but it never showed up. I was getting pretty nervous because our lunch reservations were nearing. Finally, a taxi van showed up (not a Minnie Van) and he told us he would take us. Of course, we all wouldn't fit. He just tossed our stroller into the pack (he didn't even bother to fold it up). A taxi pulled up and some of us rode in that. I rode to Disney Springs with Emmy just on my lap. I was having a panic attack the entire time that we would get in an accident with none of the kids in carseats. Luckily, we made it there safely and just in time for our lunch reservation at Homecoming. What a stressful hour that was!!!

Bryan and Jameson waiting in the random parking lot |
For our final sit down meal, we chose Homecoming. I had read nothing but good things about it and we thought it was something we had to try. It is southern food and it was very, very tasty. Most of us got the fried chicken and we really enjoyed it.

We got deviled eggs for an appetizer and they were so good! |

My lunch. It was as good as it looks. |
After we ate, we decided to walk around Disney Springs for a bit. We had planned to go to Epcot, but no one felt like dealing with the crowds and we felt it was time to be done with the parks. Disney Springs was so crowded as it was a Saturday afternoon. I went into a store I had been looking for to get some bath stuff. Joey came and told us Dawson was missing again. We all panicked and freaked out, and we were able to locate him very quickly. He about gave me yet another heart attack. After our Dawson scare, we were more than ready to get away from the crowds. So, we boarded a VERY crowded bus back to the hotel. We got off at the Swan and Dolphin and decided to walk the Boardwalk.

Bryan got some excellent shots of the Beach Club |
We still had some snack credits and quick service credits to use. We stopped at the Boardwalk pizza place and got a ton of pizzas and desserts. No one was the least bit hungry, but we knew we still had a long night of traveling ahead of us, so we had better eat something.

Our last moments at the Beach Club. |
Before we knew it, the Tragic Express showed up to take us back to the airport. We got there quickly and encountered the worst security line of my life. It was like we were flying on Thanksgiving. The line was so, so long. We kept picking the wrong lines and we hardly moved at all. It did not help that the kids were just exhausted from a week long Disney trip. They fought the entire time. I was almost in tears it was so frustrating. I think it took us nearly an hour to get through the line. Orlando security is awful!!!! Finally, we got to our gate. We didn't wait long before they started to board.

The kids sad going home faces |
The flight was pretty uneventful. Luckily, Emmy slept for a good part of it. I was so exhausted and tired but could not get comfortable in the tight seats and with Emmy on my lap. When we landed and got our luggage and finally made it home, I don't think I have ever been so happy to finally get to sleep in my own bed!!!It was an amazing trip filled with so much fun and wonderful memories. We can't wait to go back!!!!

This sums up how we all felt on the way home. |
