Grandparent Fun

      The weekend before last, Dawson and Ashlyn spent the weekend with their grandparents in Buena Vista.  Joey and I are trying to get our house ready to sell.  It is really hard to do this, with two kids to take care of and entertain.  Joey's Dad and step-mom said that they would take them so we could get some work done.  While we missed them like CRAZY, we were able to get a lot done around the house.  It was amazing how much we got accomplished.  The kids had an amazing time.  Their grandparents have such a fun house with horses, tractors, dogs, etc.  They are still talking about all the fun they had.  Big thanks to Don and Kim for watching the kids for us!  The kids came back full of awesome memories and stories, and my father-in-law even washed all of their clothes so they came back with clean clothes!!! What a nice treat!

 The most exciting part of this trip was that Ashlyn went on a ride all by herself.  Her Grandma held the rope to lead the horse, but she rode all by herself and did a great job!  She is getting so good.
