A few days after Emersyn was born, we had our favorite photographer come to our house to take pictures. We were originally were going to take them in the hospital like we did with Graceyn. We decided that the hospital room was a little small to get good pictures with six people. So, we opted to take them at home instead. The entire situation was a little frustrating. Gracie was tired and only cooperated for a few pictures and then refused to take anymore. Emersyn who had been sleeping almost all the time, decided to be wide awake for the pictures. I had hoped she would be asleep so she would cooperate better. I also had her swaddled for the pictures, but we quickly discovered she does not like to have her arms swaddled. She likes her arms by her face like she did in the womb. Despite some setbacks, our photographer still managed to get some good ones.
