I was very lucky to have my birthday on a Saturday. I didn't have to work and we got to celebrate all day! In the morning, the kids, my mom, sister, and I all went to an escape room. It was a special Christmas Grinch room. None of us had ever done an escape room, so we were all pretty excited. I had my doubts that we would escape, but we managed to do it in time! We all had so much fun and we are all dying to do another escape room.
After the escape room, Katy and I went to get our monthly massages. I love a good massage and it was the perfect birthday treat. After massages, it was time to go out to dinner. I chose Lazy Dog, which is a pretty new restaurant. We were able to make reservations so we didn't have to wait for a table. Dinner was really good. After dinner, we went back to our house for cake and presents. My cake was so good and I was spoiled with my presents! My best friend, Tricia was having an ugly sweater party that night, so Katy and I went to that later that night while Joey stayed with the kids. It was the perfect birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday.
The next day, Katy and I got to go to the Broncos game with my parents. The weather was gorgeous and we had such a fun time at the game. It was a great ending to my birthday festivities.
