After we did the Christmas movie experience, we were all ready for some lunch. Unfortunately, do to rising Covid cases, all indoor dining was suspended. You could either eat in your room or outside. Since we had checked out of our room already, our only choice was to eat outside. It was definitely less than ideal and the only negative of our trip. The good news was that it was not too cold that day and we found some fire pits to sit around.

Yum! Lunch out in the cold! |
After we ate, the kids were dying to go try the outdoor stuff. The packages we bought included unlimited ice skating and snow tubing. I don't think that any of the kids have ice skated before. I hadn't ice skated in at least 25 years. We had such a blast skating! They had plastic whales for little kids to ride on. (It also helped me balance). I pushed Emmy around and around and she just loved it! It was such a fun time. The kids said the snow tubing was fun, but I didn't try it. We spent several hours outside enjoying winter activities. We ended up staying until almost 4:00. We definitely packed in as much fun as possible. It was such a great little getaway and we all agreed we need to make it a yearly tradition!
