We usually go somewhere the week between Christmas and New Year'. Since there is no traveling this year, Joey and I made it our priority to do a lot of projects around the house. I basically organized and deep cleaned every nook and cranny of this house. It felt really, really good to be so productive and get so much done. One big project was switching out the girls beds. Since Emmy is now three, we figured it was time to get rid of the crib once and for all! It was pretty bitter sweet because we have pretty much had that crib set up for the past 13 years. It was the end of an era for sure! Emmy was so excited for her new big girl bed. We went to Target and she got to pick out her sheets. Oddly enough, she chose ice cream sheets.
Grace decided she wanted a bunk bed with a desk. Joey tried to get one from Ikea, but they were sold out. Luckily, Ella had the very bed she wanted and she had decided she no longer wanted it. Grace was so excited to get a new bed. It has so much storage and she loves the desk. The girls were both really happy with their new rooms!
