Pumpkin Patch

    We went to the pumpkin patch early in the year this year.  We have found the earlier in the season you go, the less busy it is.  We picked an absolutely perfect Sunday to go.  The weather was gorgeous and perfect for a day of fall fun.  Joey's dad and his family was able to join us too.  The kids were excited to see their grandparents and Gracie always loves when she sees Addison.
    Every year, the pumpkin patch does a different theme. This year's theme was Mario.  Dawson was so excited for the Mario theme.  We got to search all through the pumpkin patch for super stars, fire flowers, mushrooms, one ups, and Bowser.  The ultimate goal was to save Princess Peach with Mario and Luigi.  We were successful!
   The kids had a great time in the corn pit and I think they could have spent all day in there.  It always amazes me how entertaining kids find a giant pit of corn.  They also like the slides and the water duck races.  We did the hayride this year which was fun.
   They had a great selection of pumpkins and the kids made it their mission to find the biggest ones they could find.  They found some huge ones!  We stayed at the pumpkin patch for several hours and it was truly the perfect fall day.  I love our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. It never quite seems like fall until we have gone.

Emmy at 9 Months

       Our little love is 9 months old!!!  Hard to believe she is already 9 months old!  Oh is she just a joy.  She truly is probably one of the most loved babies on the planet.  Her siblings just love her so much and they love to play with her and make her smile.  She is one lucky little girl to have 3 awesome older siblings to look out for her and love her.
       Emmy is bound and determined to walk soon.  We got out the stroller that her older sisters used to learn to walk.  She just loves to push it around and always has a huge smile on her face.  She is pulling herself up all the time.  She will be walking soon!
      Emmy is also more verbal and she just babbles all day long. She says "Dada" and also has started to say "Mama".
     She is such a great baby and I just love seeing her grow and learn new things!

Graceyn's First Day of Pre-School

    Gracie is attending preschool this year.  We enrolled her in preschool through a local church near our house.  It seems its the popular preschool with our neighborhood which is nice because she will know some kids going into kindergarten.  Gracie attends school three days a week from 9-1.  She was very excited to start school and she has done very well there.  It's a great school and her teacher is really nice and Gracie really likes her.  While it's very hard to have her gone, she was ready to be around more kids and have someone to play with besides her mom and sister.  I think she is really going to grow and flourish this year and will be more than ready for kindergarten next year!
