Joey is always entering contests. He enters a lot of them, and he has actually won quite a few contests. (Like in 2010 when he got to to attempt a field goal at a Bronco's game). He entered Dawson for a chance to be a ball boy at a Denver Nuggets game. We were all beyond excited when we were notified that Dawson was chosen to the the ball boy for a Nuggets game!
Dawson was allowed to bring three people with him. He chose Joey, his Uncle Steven, and myself. We had to be at the game a few hours prior to is starting to we could get a tour. When we walked into Pepsi Center, they greeted Dawson with a special shirt and a bag full of Nuggets goodies. We then got to go on a private tour of the Pepsi Center. We got to see a lot of areas that the public does not normally see. We even got to see the private court where they practice. It was so cool!
After the tour, we got to sit next to the court until it was time for the Nuggets to warm-up. Dawson then got to go on the court and help pass the ball to players warming up. He thought it was the neatest thing ever! After he was done, we got to take a group picture on the court. They then moved us to our seats for the game, while Dawson stayed back. Before the game, he got to be on the jumbotron (Which we learned during our tour is the second biggest in the NBA.).
We got to watch the rest of the game from the seats they gave us which were pretty good seats. The Nuggets ended up losing the game, but it was definitely a very memorable night for all of us!

When we left the game, it was around 10:30. It had snowed the entire time we were at the game. The roads home were BAD, but we made it home safely. It was all worth having such an incredible experience!
