I started a new job in a new district that starts much earlier than the kids district. We tried to pack in as much fun as possible towards the end of July before I had to return to work. One night, we spent the night at our favorite hotel. The kids had a blast swimming. The swam all night, then woke up the next morning and swam some more.
Gracie has turned into our little fish! She has been taking swimming lessons at our community pool. Her teacher is very impressed with her progress. The girl has some stamina! She can tread water for more than 3 minutes. She loves to swim and begs to go to the pool all the time.

Fish Hatchery
On the way home from the cabin, we stopped at the fish hatchery. It is such a neat place. You get to feed the fish and it is all free. We plan on stopping in more on our way to and from the cabin. There are some very aggressive geese that literally stalked us and followed us from pond to pond. Emmy got a kick out of feeding the fish and seeing all of them swim to the surface.

Cabin
We spent another great weekend at the cabin. We have never had a bad weekend up there. It is such a beautiful place in the world. Colorado in the summer just can't be beat! Here are some of our adventures from the weekend.
My dad bought a new cabin up in St. Elmo. While we absolutely love the old one and have many, many cherished memories there, it is just too small for all of us now. My dad's new cabin will have more room and a lot more land for us to expand on . Joey has dreams of one day building our own tiny home right at this spot.
