Nuggets Courtside

     Since we had such a good time last year, Joey and I decided to get Nuggets court side tickets for a game in December.  It was a Christmas and birthday present to me.  We were able to get a babysitter for overnight, so we stayed in the night in a hotel across the street from the Pepsi Center.  With court side tickets, you get to go into the Lexus Club.  They have a really good buffet and free drinks.  The game was a great one and the Nuggets won which made the experience even better!  Joey and I love spoiling ourselves once a year with the court side experience.  It is a lot of fun and a great experience.  We plan on doing it every year.

They were playing OKC and we were sitting right next to their bench.  We were right next to Chris Paul.  

The view from court side is so different.  You aren't looking down on the players, so it feels like you are on the court with them.  

After the game, we went back to the Lexus club for dessert.  

Lights

  Joey did such a nice job decorating the house with lights this year.  I just love having the house decorated on the inside as well as the outside.  Here are some pictures. 

Gram's Birthday

    We recently got to celebrate a really special lady's birthday.  We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  Afterwards, we went to my parents house for cake and presents.  We are all so lucky to have Gram in our lives.  Happy birthday!!!

Garden of the Gods Field Trip

    Dawson's class went on a field trip to the Garden of the Gods.  Joey was able to go along as a chaperone.  We are so lucky to have somewhere as beautiful as Garden of the Gods right in our own backyard.

Date Night

   Over Thanksgiving break, our favorite babysitter, Jami was in town from College.  Joey and I took advantage and we went on a much needed date night.  We invited Katy and Bryan to come along.  We went to one of our favorite restaurants: 503 W.  After we ate, we made our way over to Brooklyn's which is a speakeasy type bar.  It was a lot of fun and we had such a good time having adult conversation without kids!!!
