Spring Party

Ella pushing Dawson
We finally had some warmer weather this week.  My sister came up with the idea of having a little spring party for the kids.  Spring had finally sprung and we wanted to celebrate!  We invited Emma and Brooke to come celebrate with us.
We started with the kids planting their own flower pots.  They had a great time using their artistic skills and decorating their pots.  After some painting, we all went outside and had a great time running around, blowing bubbles, and soaking up the great weather.  The kids worked up quite an appetite.  We went inside for a special spring lunch.  They had "ants on a log", butterfly sandwiches, and bunny crackers.  It was a very cute lunch.  Their favorite part was the "dirt" they got for dessert.  After lunch, we went outside to play some more.  They also got to plant flowers in their flower pots.
We had such a nice little party.  The kids all had so much fun with one another and it was such a nice way to celebrate nicer weather finally starting!

These two are so silly sometimes.

Painting fun.  Dawson somehow immediately got his hands covered in blue paint.

They worked very hard!

Such nice painting

Lots of concentration

The "ants on a log".  We didn't have raisins, so we had to substitute.

What a fun spring themed lunch!
