Disney Day 7

This was our last full in Disney. Everyone was pretty bummed our trip was coming to an end.  But, we didn't let that get us down as we still had a lot of fun ahead!  We started the morning bright and early at 7:00 to head to the Magic Kingdom again.

Ready for more fun!

We had breakfast reservations for Be Our Guest.  We had never been there for breakfast and the kids were really excited to eat there.

Such a neat restaurant!

My blue eyed beauty
When we ordered our food, we ordered by hotel room groups.  They brought out everyone's food, but they never brought out Dawson, Gracie and I's food.  We waited a really long time and watched everyone eat there delicious food.  I finally went and said something and they brought out our food shortly after.  The manager came over and apologized and said that she was giving us all an extra fast pass to use in the park for our trouble.  It was a nice surprise!

After we ate, we made our way over to Mine Train.  The wait was only 20 minutes (completely unheard of for Mine Train).  It was a great ride.

Next, we walked across the park to ride Big Thunder Mountain.  We rode standby so we got to play with the fun interactive ride stuff.  It was pretty short wait.

Next, we headed over to Splash Mountain which also had a really short wait.

After Splash Mountain, we made our way over to the Haunted Mansion.  The line was really short as well and we pretty much walked right on ( Gosh I love Disney in September!) .

Next up was our fast passes for Mine Train.  We got to ride twice in one day which was a really nice treat.  It is a short ride, but a fun one!

The kids decided that they wanted to ride Space Mountain one last time.  We decided to use our bonus fast passes on Space Mountain.  It was super jerky as usual, but the kids loved it.

When we got off the ride, we waked towards the area where the rest of the family was.  As we were walking, Gracie asked if she could go stand in this mister thing.  I said yes.  We met up with everyone and decided that we wanted to go grab lunch at a quick service restaurant that was right there.  We all went in and I ordered our food while Bryan went and got tables.  When I got to the tables, I realized Gracie was not at the tables.  I asked Bryan and he said she was actually with my parents who were ordering.  I ran over to my parents, but she wasn't with them either.  I immediately FREAKED out realizing we had lost her.  My brother and I ran out of the restaurant to look for her.  I decided to go back to where I had last seen her (I had totally forgotten that she asked to go to the mister.) . As I was running over there, I saw her immediately with a cast member.  Poor thing was so scared.  I grabbed her and hugged her so fast.  The cast member got her a free Mickey ice cream bar an attempt to cheer her up.  I brought her back to the restaurant and apologized a million times to her.  It took her a bit, but she finally perked up again.  I felt horrible, but with this many kids we always manage to lose one of them (last time it was Dawson twice).

A little sweet snack
After our harrowing lunch experience, we headed over to ride It's a Small World.  It seemed to cheer everyone right up!

Next, I took the Gracie and Ella to meet Rapunzel and Tianna.  The girls loved getting to meet the princesses and they were great with them.

I can't recall what everyone else did while we met the princesses, but afterwards we all met up and rode Pirates.  I couldn't leave Disney World without riding Pirates at least once!

After Pirates, we all decided that we had to get Dole Whip.  We hadn't had it yet and it was the perfect treat on such a hot day.  It was a good choice.

After our snack break, we used a fast pass to ride Splash Mountain one last time.  The last Splash Ride is always so bitter sweet.

We then headed over to Peter Pan.  We used fast passes for this as well which saved us from waiting in a very long line.

The kids were dying to the ride the carousel.  The line was pretty short and they had a good time.

They tried, but couldn't get the sword out

Our last walk down Main Street

Last group shot in front of the castle

We headed out of the park at this point because we had to make our way over to the Polynesian for our dinner reservations.  Gracie was just beat at this point and got in a nap while we waited for the monorail.

We had a lot of time to kill at the Poly before our dinner reservation at O'hana.  We got some drinks and walked around the property and relaxed.  It was much needed!

Rest time!

Eventually, it was time to eat and we got seated.  We love O'hana and the food is always really good.  On this night, the a/c was not working in the restaurant and it was so, so hot.  It kind of ruined the experience a bit, but we still enjoyed our dinner.

My yummy tropical drink
After dinner, we took the monorail back to Epcot.  I am not sure what happened, but it took us forever to get there.  We had to get off at one point and get back on at the transfer station.  The monorail was just packed and it was not a pleasant experience at all.

Packed on the monorail
By the time we got to Epcot, we were just beat.  We had been going all day and we were all exhausted.  The kids begged and begged to ride Mission Space.  Katy and I said we would take them.  Luckily, the big kids all rode the intense side and I got away with taking Gracie on the less intense side.

After our mission, we left the park and headed back to our rooms.  Despite being exhausted, we packed and watched the fireworks from our balcony one last time.
